About UsJoy Black, R.N., B.A., has been in the nursing profession in N.E. Ohio for the last 26 years and counting and previously she was with the Peace Corps in Chile, South America. She is regarded as the ultimate care giver by he colleagues, friends and residents. Joy trained at Mt. Sinai School of Nursing and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Health Services Management from Ursuline College. She is an active member of the Chesterland Rotary Club, a graduate of the Geauga Leadership Program, and past board member of ORCA-Ohio Residential Care Association. Her philosophy throughout her career has been to respect the dignity and integrity of all she meets in her personal and professional capacity. In the management of her group home, she actively advocates for a safe environment and a nurturing setting for all the residents. Joy has two married children and lives with her husband Shannon and various livestock on a small farm in Chardon! Heather Weikum, BCN, CNC Heather has worked within the legal and medical professions for over 20 years, she has spent 16 years working oversees and out of State, and returned to Ohio in 2016 to continue the family business. She continues to provide the same care and standards set by Joy and expected from residents, their families and the community. She continues the philosophy of the home, to respect the dignity and integrity of all who come to live with us, provide a safe and nurturing home setting where residents are treated like family. Heather is married and has 2 children. |
