Services

Joy’s Place provides private rooms in a group home setting and is licensed by the State of Ohio.  We offer the following services and amenities for residents:

• 24 hour awake staffing
• Assistance with personal care, grooming, and activities of daily living
• Supervision of medications and health care appointments
• On site podiatrist care  and beautician visits
• Resident lead meal planning of nutritious and medically appropriate meals and snacks served family style
• Social, educational, and recreational programs and activities
• Transportation to outings, religious services, community agencies, etc.
• Continuation of family involvement through visits, outings, and regular phone calls
• Temporary respite care services for those recuperating from injury or illness or an absent caregiver
• Interaction with home care nursing agencies and physicians for exceptional continuing care
• Community connections with other facilities offering step down care, advanced care, and mental health care with aligned values
